To celebrate this milestone, we're sharing an inside update from Massimo Massarotto from the Geoship Production Team, offering a firsthand look at the kickoff of our official production process.
Hi, Iâm Massimo, part of the production team here at Geoship. With over 20 years of experience working with mission-driven companies in sustainability, design, and regenerative business, Iâve always believed that aligning work with values isnât just important â itâs essential. Thatâs what brought me to Geoship. Here, Iâve had the unique opportunity to work hands-on in developing a radically new kind of housing system. And today, Iâm excited to share a milestone that marks a true turning point on our journey toward scalable, regenerative manufacturing.

Inside the Factory: Geoshipâs First Continuous Production Milestone

The Scaling Challenge
Scaling is often the point where companies either break through or break down.
Iâve seen truly visionary startups â with beautiful, ethical missions â burn through all their capital because they couldnât scale in time. The heartbreaking part is how close they come. You see brilliant people, beautiful ideas, years of dedication⊠and it all ends with an empty bank account and a shuttered dream.
We understand that for a company to be truly successful and make a lasting impact, building a single dome isnât enough â we need to build hundreds, even thousands, and do so sustainably and consistently. What gives me confidence that weâre on the right path isnât just the product or our ability to scale production; itâs also the strength of the team weâve assembled and the fact that weâre entering the market at the right time. These factors together make me believe weâre positioned to create meaningful impact and long-term success.
A Culture of Collaboration
From my point of view, this phase has tested and revealed the best of us.
Every day, I watch engineers, chemists, and production techs roll up their sleeves and solve complex challenges together â through constant iteration, trust, and creative thinking. In our workspace, no idea is a bad idea. The theoretical and technical skill at work is a beautiful thing to witness. Itâs not uncommon to see a PhD brainstorming shoulder-to-shoulder with a production technician, both equally valued and heard.
That spirit of mutual respect and collaborative environment in my mind is what makes Geoship special. Weâre building something thatâs not just technicalâ I view it as a complex system of interactions that move the company forward but also can be perceived as a tool to build better homes as well as a better societyâŠand it works.
The Mixing Trial Milestone

đ Recently, we had a major production unlock:Â
We successfully completed our first mixing trial, producing five back-to-back dome skins in less than an hour using our fully integrated system.
This trial validated about 70% of the critical steps in our production loop â and was powered by two custom-built machines weâve spent the last nine months designing, calibrating, and bringing online:
đïž The Bag Discharger â affectionately known as the Eiffel Tower â precisely measures and feeds our raw materials into the system.
đž The Mixing Stand â aka the Octopus Spaceship â receives, mixes, and dispenses our proprietary GeoRock bioceramic into molds with consistency and precision.
These two machines are the heart of our production line. Getting them right meant getting everything right.
For this trial, we timed the entire process and ran the line using only our production techs â while the engineers watched closely. We transformed these raw ingredients into beautifully molded dome skins within our target timing.
While weâve produced many parts in the past for testing and prototyping, we had never produced five skins back-to-back, without interruption. That was the true objective: to run all the steps in repetition, simulating our production system in full swing.
It felt like the past months of hard work â on both the system and our team synergy â had been preparing us for the first leg of a much bigger race weâre now running together.
The machines performed smoothly. The team moved in harmony â confidently, safely, and in sync. Communication was seamless even amidst loud noises and ticking clocks.
At the end of the process, after an explosion of joy and celebration, we held a full team debrief where every perspective was narrated. That dialogue led to several small but meaningful improvements weâll now implement. But overall, the result was clear: the objective was achieved beautifully.
What It Means
Weâve officially kicked off continuous production on the components for our first dome installation!
This wasnât just a mechanical test. It was a full-scale rehearsal of our production model â covering everything from ingredient dosing and mold handling to material mixing, pouring, and curingâŠ
Up next, weâll test the de-molding process, conduct quality control, and prep the parts for crating and shipment.
My Personal Reflections on the Culture Behind the Breakthrough

My biggest takeaway is that how we do things is just as important as what we produce.
Too many companies lose their way by treating people like parts in a machine â workers reduced to numbers, teams driven solely by deadlines. That approach might create a product, but it doesnât create a future worth living in and employees wake up each day and leave their work, with nothing added to their quality of life. Why does it have to be this way?
At Geoship, the culture is different. Itâs not just about innovation but itâs also about integrity. Iâve experienced firsthand how deeply this team values each voice, each contribution, and each human being. Whether itâs a chemist with a PhD or a technician on the factory floor, we collaborate as equals. Thereâs a spirit of joy, fairness, care, and respect that shapes what we do and from my point of view these qualities are embedded in each part we produce for these homes.Â
Is this too woo woo? From my point of view I can tell you that I truly believe this culture is not a side note â could it be the engine of our innovation?
Let me spend a few more words here: Weâre not just building homes â we want to revolutionize the housing market but also how we make it happen. And the way we work together inside our factory I believe will echo outward into the world: into the industry, and into the lives of the people who will one day live in these domes. Itâs all connected!
I can also compare it to preparing a meal for dear friends. When I grow my vegetables and cook them with love you can taste it and it nourishes the cook as well! It's a kind of a positive feedback loop and I believe thatâs what weâre doing here â embedding care, respect, and purpose into every layer of what we do.
Onward, Together

I hope you appreciate this view and the success we have reached so far and thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission.

Join Us as an Investor
This is a defining moment for Geoship. Kicking off continuous production isnât just a milestone â itâs a signal.
It shows that weâre not just dreamingâweâre delivering. With systems coming online, components being produced, and our first dome installation on the horizon, this is a powerful validation of our team, our technology, and our timeline.
For investors, it marks a major de-risking moment. Weâre still early, but now the path forward is tangible. Real parts. Real progress. Real momentum.
