How Do Delivery Waves Work?
Regional Demand based Delivery: Geoship’s domes will be delivered regionally, starting with select areas or states. Demand drives where and when we deliver our domes. High-demand regions with the most reservations will be prioritized. This ensures we meet the needs of early adopters and grow sustainably across regions.
The “Wave” Delivery System: At Geoship, we use a wave-based delivery system to ensure a fair and efficient rollout of our domes as we scale. Each wave represents a group of customers within a specific region, and once the slots for that wave are filled, it closes, and the next wave begins. This approach allows us to focus on efficient delivery in one area before moving on to the next, ensuring smooth regional rollouts.
Wave Timing: Each wave has a set delivery timeframe, and as we near the end, spots fill up quickly. Reserving your spot early is the best way to ensure you're included in the current wave for your region and receive your dome sooner!
What Is The “Delivery Queue”?
The Delivery Queue determines the order in which domes are produced and delivered within each wave. Your rank in this queue depends on several factors, including your investment, referral activity, and reservation timing. Customers with higher rankings in the queue will have their domes produced and delivered sooner within their wave.
How to Move Up in the Queue: You can move up in the delivery queue by increasing your investment, referring others to reserve domes, or being an early supporter. Larger investments, successful referrals, and early reservations all boost your priority, giving you faster access to your Geoship dome!
What is the “Priority Delivery Queue: Your position in the queue is based on factors like investment amount, referral activity, and how early you made your reservation. By reserving today, you will get a “priority” status which will impact your overall rank in the queue based on being an early supporter and reservation holder.
How to influence which Regions are prioritized in the wave based delivery system
You can influence which regions are prioritized for rollout by generating interest and demand in your area. The more reservations and referrals from a specific region, the higher the likelihood that it will be prioritized in the wave-based delivery system. Engaging your community and spreading the word about Geoship can help bring your region to the forefront!
What it means to be bumped to the front of a wave
When you complete 60 successful referrals, you'll unlock the reward of "Get bumped to the front of the delivery queue within your wave." This means, no matter your current rank, you'll move to the front of your region's wave, ensuring your dome is produced and delivered sooner than others in that wave.
As Geoship’s production scales, this reward lets you skip the wait and be one of the first in your region to receive your dome.
